My 530xi was broken into

I had the most fucked up night. I parked my car on the street last night and as i was falling asleep i heard the alarm go off, i looked out the window and seen two men walking away from my car. I ran downstairs with a weapon in hand but i was too late. all my windows were rolled down and everything from inside the car was taken including my 32gig ipod touch, some music and all my books. i dont have a clue how the hell the windows were opened. WTF. How can this happen?
