I have never payed the minimum payment how ever and have only had it since March 2014. Super car just more interested in something with M prestige now
What you need to be interested in first and foremost is getting yourself on a sounder financial footing. I don't want to sound cruel but from what I've seen in this thread you should not be looking at $35K - $40K cars. Get yourself rightside up on the BMW and trade it in for a Honda Civic or, my favorite, a Honda Fit. Don't be afraid to buy used, both cars are dead reliable, but do look for a clean one of course. Pay it down as fast as you can until you own it outright. Keep socking those payments away until you can pay cash for another Fit. *Then* *maybe* start thinking about "M prestige". Maybe.

Good luck! Let us know how it works out.

EDIT: And whatever you do don't buy that Evo!

Thank you for the advise,

never to proud to read some advice from an outside POV.
I think I will end up keeping my car until paid off because:
1# I'd rather own a 135i than a Honda Fit when paid off
2# My current car does not effect my ability to save 20%+ of my current pay which IMO is more than enough to actively be able to afford things after saving.

Can't see myself finding any joy out of driving a Honda Fit lol

That Evo is clapped out junk. BMW will be a better daily; cruises on the highway better, with boltons, probably faster; better MPG. If you're looking for a track car, then an Evo would make sense.

Good decision. But don't sell the Fit short. The car is a full-on hoot to drive and rewards the enthusiastic driver. Don't take my word for it though, read C&D or any of the others. They like the car.

Don't know if this was said already but if you want to trade it, trade it for an Evo X!

Damn. I owed 17k on my GT-R and was bothered by it.

But Absolutely not. Id take your BMW over that evo even if it didn't run. That is a great color combo on your car as well.

I dont know maybe I just hate evos and STis because of the kids that typically own them
