Has anyone checked out plexcoin?
I really like the feature of being able to spend your coins using a Visa with no fees concept, but my skepticism is really high, while i think if they can achieve everything they say it good have huge potential. Being able to spend your coins with a Visa and no fees sounds like the holy grail for a cryptocurrency, even being able to bank and invest? Sounds good, but then they start making all those outrageous ROI claims, it makes it seem like a scam. Quick google says a lot of people saying it being an ICO means it's a scam. BitCoin had alot of skepticism in the beginning also and took years to take off. The ICO does seem like a great way to get a lot of users to buy in early. But you won't be able to spend your coins until the Visa comes out in Q1 2018, it doesn't say much about transfer options. Perhaps something to keep an eye on for now or only put a few dollars in, My 1 bitcoin I bought years ago has gone up a lot in value, wonder if this concept can capitalize on where the bitcoin lacks, acceptance. I use Coinbase to buy BTC, ETH, and LTC. They charge fees for transactions, but it's really easy to use.

Kraken, Cex.io, Coinbase, Bitpanda, Poloniex.
To name a few. Kraken and Cex are exchanges and really good, you can buy directly with credit card or bank account. Coinbase is ok but has terrible customer support if you ever need it. Bitpanda has high fees and intense verification process where you get a video call from a dedicated ID verification service. Poloniex is a chinese exchange and is good for trading from BTC into other crypto. |

I chose Gatehub mainly because Ripple invests into it as my major coins are xrp. Time consuming and cost a bit more to do usd/xrp, but that is my only option atm. Those information they need are normal as gov requires them to do so if you want to withdraw payment (they assume you will want to at some point). |

lol I don't remember reading that, but I just submitted whatever they ask for verification purposes. My ripple and btc were ready to go right after the 20 xrp was deposited. However, the USD/XRP gateway has been pending for 5 weeks now. At least can start trading xrp with Gatehub.

BTC at $4260+. Insane, wish I bought and held more.
That's a $1k jump in 1 week.

I had about 45 btc back in college 2 years ago back when it was between 260-400 each. Sold them to buy a $6K engagement ring and to put in index funds because I didn't like volatility.
I got them from selling currency in a video game I played (Runescape). Wish I kept it at all but you can't tell the future. |

I've been trying to put my finger on crypto currency but it's all too much for me. And with all the latest news about the end of bitcoins I can't believe people keep doing it. And are there any guarantees that we will be able to use the "money"? I feel like it's all very unstable and I'd rather stick to something old and boring like stocks or real estate. A friend of mine has gone into renovation projects when you buy a not-very-new apartment in Athens https://tranio.com/greece/attica/athens/apartments/ (prices are rather reasonable), upgrade it a bit and then rent out with Airbnb or without them and always get decent returns (Greece is flooded with tourists from everywhere so it shouldn't be a problem to rent it out all the year round). Bitcoins and all that do seem a piece of cake but I don't know guys. Maybe I will regret it, but I'm just probably not cut out for that

I use it. I like it a lot, haven't had any problems either. They have nearly all coins I'd be interested in.
Anyone still holding Digibyte? Give me some good news lol... bought it around 400sat, watched it go up to 2400 and said "eh, why not hold and see where it goes" (I was up 400% that week throughout my portfolio.) Should've just taken the profit and sold smh. |
