Great, congrats! Similar situation - about to trade in my X6 m50d for 7 series. Biggest issue is whether to go for 730d or 740d. Was it hard for you to decide?

We don't have the 740d here yet, so 730d was the only diesel option. I have to say the 730d goes very well, very happy with the car. Our 7 series are quite well specced as standard so made sense to change. With the new quad diesel and idrive coming out for the X5/6 m50d it was the ideal time to trade the old one in

Are you satisfied with how accelerator pedal is tuned? I test drove 730Ld couple of days ago, and had an impression that it is somewhat dampened as compared to X5 30d. Did not try Sport mode though...

Hi it seemed fine, sport mode was quite responsive. Ride my car in adaptive mode all the time now

Thanks, this is helpful indeed. Thinking about changing my order from 740d to 730d and adding comfort rear seats and ventilation and some other perks instead
