Looks great, classic bmw, understated, big greenhouse, classic roofline/c pillar.

I like it.

You mean LS460/LS600h. The LS400 was about 20 some years ago.

This does have some designs aspects from the Vision Future Luxury Concept, like the long chrome hockey stick on the side. Hopefully the addition of Carbonfiber has lightened the vehicle, so that it is significantly lighter than it's respective S Class, Lexus LS and Audi A8 rivals.

Someone from BMW needs to read this thread and scratch this design and use these instead.

The chrome bar in the back doesn't help it.

In the segment my first choice would be the W222 S Class, then the A8, then this 7 series. I think I'd be able to pass on augmented reality in the G11 for car that has a good looking interior like the W222.

More power to W222 S class. Such a disappointment, inside out.

Ok YALL. Been reading the comments all day waiting for
One of you guys to say this but naw.. No one did.

ANYWAYS BRUH. This is obviously a pre production model.. Tires and wheels aren't even for the car. Interior looks like a current 7 series interior with a few changes, it
Could be that they were testing drivetrain and suspension with this model when it was caught.

And, I doubt this was a "spy shot". you think BMW will let a car leave the factory or whatever without camo? They could of possibly let this slide
On purpose, to gain hype and maybe surprise us. BMW talks about next generation 7 series with a lot of confidence.

I'm digging the new headlights (although don't think they should touch grill), digging the new Foglights, digging the rear end a lot but I don't like that chrome strip. I HATE chrome on cars. HATEEEE. I vinyl wrap all chrome on my cars.

Anyways, good car overall. But this is obviously pre production.. And not the final product.

SCOTT WHERE U AT BUDDY LOOKING FOR YOUR FEEDBACK REGARDING THIS CAR!!!!!!

For something of its size, I much prefer it to the bumbly proportions of other true, 7 passenger SUVs.
The old Q7 was ok, but I'm talking about the new one which is plain ugly, the grill looks like it's off an 18 wheeler, and it has chrome slabs on the sides which look out of place... The rest is ok but looks like it could be from any of their cars from the past 10 years. Also there is nothing wrong with wagons/ crossovers.. Just don't market it as an SUV because it's not.
I'm talking about the new one. I can't stand the old one- too round/soft for me.

I suppose this is why choice is good.

Smacks of an early 2000s Hyundai XG300.

Always felt that this type of 'AutoZone' styling element was lazy. As if the designer need some way to bridge (or obfuscate) the connection between two parts of car that, on their own, don't work well together.

There's nothing called pre production model ... Either a concept, test mule or a prodcution model. This one definitely the final production version no doubt.

I would even go one further and choose the XJ over the 7.
