Four Run Flat Tires Needed; Goodyear or Pirelli?
Hi everyone,
All four tires have bubbles and I have insurance for another 9 months. I don’t plan to switch to conventional tires at this time, but may when insurance expires. Goodyear Excellence RunOnFlat tires since new, but figured I should consider Pirelli P Zero Run Flat tires at this time. Those who’ve had both, any pros and cons in relation to each other? One better than the other? Car is going to the dealer today. Thanks! |

I have Pirelli 22" summers and 21" winters. Nothing is better than Pirelli.

Thanks!
Upon drop off, I asked for the Pirelli’s, but upon consideration of the feedback here, from other boards and a conversation with a tirerack rep - who first said Pirelli’s, but switched to Goodyear’s - I’ve decided to stick with the Goodyear’s. I use the car in the winter and with the Pirelli’s being softer, they're supposedly worse in snow. Such that I’ve been able to make due in snow thus far, I didn’t want to risk change. When my insurance expires, I plan to switch to conventional Michelin’s. Too bad not in a southern state; would’ve gone with the Pirelli’s; look better too.
