I wish it rained just before the start of every race... seems to level the playing field a bit and gives us a good dose of entertaining racing :-/

I wonder if the sport is also struggling in general. Nico's poor reaction to pressure seems similar to F1's flailing about in terms of changing rules. Qualifying formats? Radios? Track limits? Penalties? Some of the reasons being given seem half baked at best. Drivers going directly to Charlie, teams going directly to Bernie. It doesn't sound like well tuned machine. Perhaps attendance, ratings and sponsorships are not looking so good.

Didn't realize the penalties wouldn't carry-over. Is it possible to take more than two motors? If nothing carries over why not load up? I'm assuming it can't be that easy.

That means in Spa, if HAM escapes from other mechanical issues and avoid first lap chaos, will be an interesting overtaking race!

If it helps at all with this current snooze fest, I'm all for it. Maybe they'll even get rid of the fuel restrictions so these racers can maybe go all out for the whole, you know, RACE.

Bring back refueling as well!

5 seconds/lap gain! Yes. Bring it. Long overdue imo.

That could make it even more boring in terms of a race. If tire wear doesn't matter and it basically becomes an engine contest you'll know even sooner than you do now who will win the race. Give everyone the same engine though and it gets more interesting, but that's probably not what the biggest teams want to do as their dominance and likelihood in winning the constructor's money would decline. There need to be more variables not less if you want more interesting races.

5 secs a lap sounds nice. But doesn't equate to excitement at all.
If all teams about 3-5 secs next year, with the same development pace, we will have the same snooze fest unless RBR or Ferrari can get ahead of the Merc at race starts.

Not going to hold my breathe until first five races in 2017. But the cars do look a lot better in terms of proportion.
