Agree. I looked up Life Quality and there is the usual Internet mix of good and bad reviews, maybe a few more negative, but just saying "don't go there" is not very helpful.

With a blowout, the OP may have had no choice. I think roadside assistance will go to the nearest dealer. This is a travesty. OP if you are near Nassau County, I can recommend a dealer. Meanwhile, I'd say let them try to fix the wheels and the spoiler etc., and get the car out of there. If you are unhappy with the results, you can pursue your own source for the wheels. You will also have proof if they screw up again, but you will not be in their clutches any longer.

BTW, I had pothole damage a couple of years ago on my F10 (no blowout) and I ended up with bent suspension components and a $2000 repair. Your insurance should cover it, and the tires and wheels should be covered by your tire/wheel policy.

With your blowout did you see with your own eyes the suspension damage? I can't go into much detail but let's just say someone on the inside told me the service advisor was outright lying and trying to take me to the cleaners with repairs that weren't necessary.

Welcome to Brooklyn dealerships my friend,
First of all you must be an idiot to take your car there, they steal stuff from cars, they put old broken part so you have to come back to them for repair, that place is complete SCAM!
One of the worse dealership ever existed.

No, but I could feel that something wasn't right. I did not have a blowout but could continue to drive (18" wheels in NY are a good idea). I am very sensitive to wheel imbalance or anything like that. This did not feel like wheel imbalance, but I knew something was off. I thought the alignment had been knocked out of adjustment. The dealer thought so too, until they tried to realign and could not get it to align in specs. Then they examined more carefully and found the bent component. Your situation sounds way different, and your dealer way different. If the SA was outright lying, that sounds like fraud. At some point you may have to go into detail (not here).
