Think I've finally run out of excuses to continue avoiding this.

At least the outside doesn't look like a dachshund taking a dump anymore. That there is progress.

Merci. Coincidentally wearing it now in fact. Not sure my t-shirt of the month for Sept would be permissible by the mods.

I tried to sell my wife on a sportwagen as our dog/grocery car theyre pretty nippy when modded, and VW was giving me 10% off MSRP but we went with the x1

Volvo V90 in r-design, one of the better looking wagons out there at the moment. And I think they will bring it to the US. I want mine in black, might trade my F31 for one of these because I'm in need of something a little bit bigger.

E63 would also be quite sweet but unfortunately it's a bit pricey.

They already have some time ago - you can order one today. But, only in T5 or T6 guise - no T8 in the US. Whether they will add the T8 in the future seems to remain unconfirmed (unless I've missed an announcement).

The price is actually good - nearly $15k less than the E400 Estate for the T5 starting MSRP and even the T6 is over $10k less. I suspect the T8 would be priced at about $65k starting - so it would be competitive with the E400 which it would probably perform comparably to. However, the Mercedes has the Volvo beat comfortably in cargo capacity. That said, if I were buying a large wagon, I would definitely favor the V90, especially if they bring the T8, simply because it is so darn good looking. The Jaguar XF Sportbrake S is also an option, and also quite beautiful (maybe even better looking than the V90), but at $70k starting, it is a big ask. It might be optioned up nicely at that price though - I haven't compared them all at that level of detail.

That picture is the V90 CC, just FYI. The standard V90 has no fender cladding and sits at a "normal" passenger car ride height.
