Toyotas are very reliable. I did only put gas and oil in it, but all the service was dealer provided. I replaced tires at 55,000 miles which I would have had to replace sooner in the Tesla and since they are larger would have been more expensive. I owned the Avalon for 70,000 miles. I get what you’re saying about performance, but other than that, you’d be surprised how well equipped the Avalon is. In my mind there isn’t $30k more value in the Tesla, but that’s my opinion. And I did make a mistake, you can still get a base Model S for $70k.

Still two wildly different cars. Did you consider running the same comparison of an Avalon to a Model 3 with the bigger batteries? Not that you could get one.

No because at the time of purchase it didn’t exist. I no longer own the Avalon.

Doubtful. Maybe when Tesla can provide me a full recharge in 90 seconds and doesn’t require government subsidies.

Like, I say, just having a little fun with it. A little funny is great for the soul. I'm sorry you don't appreciate the humor, but that's ok because, like you say, no one's perfect.

I understand your decision not to take it further. Cheers!

Which car company doesn't use government subsidies?
