Porsche Singer 500HP Williams....Sweet Baby Jesus!

Singer finally reveals its 500-HP Porsche monster

Dream no more – the Singer/Williams Porsche 911, with 500 horsepower, is finally here.

Having leaked not too long ago, this masterpiece is the final product of the dreamy partnership between Singer Vehicle Design and Williams Advanced Engineering. The lucky owner, Scott Blattner, had his 964-generation 911 restored and perfected by the collaboration.

From every angle, this 911 is an absolute masterpiece. Norbert Singer – not related to Singer Vehicle Design; instead accountable for the Porsche Le Mans prototype cars – even worked his magic on this car, tweaking the aerodynamics of this unique 964 and optimizing airflow.

The suspension is also custom made to optimize the car’s weight – itself an impressive figure, weighing in at just 988 kilograms, or 2,180 pounds. The Fuchs lookalike wheels, made by BBS, are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tires. Of course, right above the rear axle sits the crown jewel – a 3.6L flat-six tuned to 500 horsepower, and coupled to an H-pattern six-speed manual transmission.

There is no official pricing yet, but rumours suggest this Singer/Williams-tuned 911 will exceed US$1 million.

Yeah, can't wait till this thing is real! 911 Perfected.

Apparently, Chris Harris had something to do with the design.

I honestly feel like Singers are perfection I'd take one over my other fantasy cars, an F40 or Macca F1.

Just wrong on so many levels.

I'm sure your VC would be cooler if it were quartz.

I'd imagine they'd put a DCT in there if the money was right. There was an early story about them spending lots of time with Porsche to get various parts of a modern wiring harness to work with their previous motor.
