Photos from my trip to Eastern State Pennitentiary

Took a tour of the place yesterday. I love this kind of stuff. I took a lot of pics. Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Oh man, I do so love love love exploring condemned properties and urban decay in general. I find them utterly fascinating.

Looks like that one is sanitized & maintained for public admission though. I prefer the ones where you're damn well trespassing :-)

I checked out Falstaff Brewery in Galveston TX about 2 years ago, still my all time favorite.

Nice! Thanks for sharing guys. At least I know I am not the only one w/ a draw towards this kind of stuff. I always look for abandoned mining sites and towns during my desert travels. I've yet to do any urban stuff mainly because I can't find anyone to go w/ me or the places get torn down before I can make my way to them.

not prison, but the decay, I was curious on the Divine Lorraine, because one wonders how everything isn't a Starbucks/Toys R Us/Wells Fargo in this day and age. Now of course that's being renovated.

Folks should know what Times Square was like in 1987, when tourists had to be back in their rooms before sunset. Now it's like Disney World in London all hours into the night.

My buddy Grant and a couple others snuck into the old Packard plant in Detroit, while there they saw people dressed like superman, batman, robin, etc. They watched for a while because they weren't sure if they were making a movie or something..., then after about 10 minutes robin got on his knees and started sucking off spiderman (I think).

It got spread all over the internet until one of them contacted them and threatened to sue, so they took it down. I'm pretty sure if you google gay superheros at the packard plant there is still stuff floating around. Pretty funny shit.
