Untuckit Shirts... anyone Tried them?

Un tuck it shirts.. Anyone own them ?

I like the concept of the button up. Untouched shirts that have a nice clean end.

No long tail in the rear or. Uneven looking front.

I have seen the ad on TV a lot lately.. checked out the website and considered placing an order..

But before dropping 3-4 bills for some new shirts I thought I would check in and ask the members of bimmerpost.

Thanks in advance.

Adds about 15 hp. Carbon fiber version also has some slight weight reduction.

Decided many years ago to stop tucking my shirts in simply because I like the 'freedom' of a shirt that isn't tucked inside my pants. But I didn't like how long they looked when I untucked them. So I took all of my shirts and visited a local tailor. I had them shorten the shirts to where they look just right on my body. They came out perfectly; same exact hemming design on the bottom just cut an inch or two shorter.

It was the best decision ever. Been wearing the same exact shirts everyday since then. I remember it costed like $20 bucks per shirt. Good thing was it saved me the trouble of searching endlessly for shirts that fit my body (also saved me a ton of money).

Just another option I wanted to share with you. It seems like the shirts on that website aren't exactly cheap, and that sail logo on the bottom of the shirt would drive my OCD insane.

Never heard of them but I'll bite. Ordered one. With 15% discount code it was $66.00.

This... All my dress shirts are tailored... No different from your suits and slacks... Shirts need to be fitted as well...

Meh...they look too short...

I would just take normal shirts to a tailor and have them trim them a couple of inches. Same concept, obviously, but more fitted to specifically you...

Jeez. That was an unnecessarily grumpy and grammatically incorrect response. Did somebody forget their coffee this morning?

No, wait, you're right. Nobody should post things on the forums (ESPECIALLY in off-topic) unless it contains valuable information

I wouldn't run out and replace your whole wardrobe but I'll probably pick up a couple more if I see something I like on sale. Quality is about on par with better department store stuff - as you would expect at the price point. Solid at $50-$70, not so much at $100. The regular fit is slightly trim fitting - I imagine it's that way b/c they don't want it to hang like box since it's shorter.

Overall a nice way to dress up a pair of jeans on the weekend without feeling sloppy. Probably not necessary for those > 6' since it's not hard to find shirts that don't hang too low if you're taller.
