Fuck the NFL
You know what..I was just getting to watch the niner mon night opener and watching the anthem and all the hoopla and here ya go with kap kneeling and a bunch of other guys with the clenched fist and I don't give a fuck if I'm white and say this is shit. Deplorable. The whole thing is so lame. I agree there are racial problems in this country but I don't think this is the medium for protest.
Fuck them..blacks, whites, Asians and whatever..play the game...not politics you dumbfucks. That's why I am a big Hockey fan..once again because they honor the anthems and play and worry about putting the teeth in. It's just sad.

Eh, honestly I'm kind of whatever about it.
Generally speaking I watch football so I disconnect from politics and whatever else is going on. But if they want to make a statement, it's their right. Just like it's your right to protest the protest. In the end, I'm watching for the game. Not the anthem or pre-game. |

I can't stand how everyone says "freedom of speech" or "second ammendment" Those laws are to protect us from the government prosecuting you for opposing them NOT walk around and do and say what you want. I'll give you all an example, go to work tomorrow, walk up to our boss and say " I think your wife is a fat disgusting cunt and I wanna piss on your kids" You would be obviously fired before you finish the sentence, but wait you have freedom of speech don't you??? What if I wanna go in time square and burn a flag tomorrow?? Paint a swastika on my cheeks??A white player choosing to warm up with a white hood over his head??? We still have a decorum as a society and as far as I'm concerned the anthem falls in that.

I just don't see how the black panther sign is acceptable, I'm a general manager and NONE of this "protesting" would be acceptable at work. It affects the product and any employee has the right to prevent something like this. Its a work place!
