Your UK predictions 3 year old G11 price
So the prices are yoyoing for 15 and 16 my cars.
I predict that BMW are highly undervaluing these on PCP - to claw back some cash so the monthlys are higher I am seeing residuals of 22k and even one at 20k on their website after 3 years but only 19k after 4. My opinion is that if an F02 that is 3 years old with fair miles is retailing at £28 to 31k today then the same should follow suit for the newer model. Unless you feel differently? |

I am guessing actual residual values will rise in 3 years compared to lease contract residuals. If, as rumored, new car prices rise significantly as Britain leaves the EC, used car prices will rise as well. The thing is that actual residuals are hard to predict because they are the product of the marketplace, which depends on supply and demand (i.e. competition). That's why it is all guessing.
