Hoodline cuttoff: hope that means BMW acknowledges the mistake and moving all future models away of that hideous cut line on the hood! Who was in charge, folks from Pontiac?!

I see some RR influence, Bangle 6/7 series, E90 and some LS460
And to a lesser extent some rlx in the haunches

Great information and great pictures!
Your design can be seen more modern and sporty than the current generation.
I hope the new generation of this car continue to incorporate new technologies and combine the dynamic handling with elegance.
Its competitor the S class has an ugly interior, seats seem to have no support, no doubt prefer the balance of luxury and sporty BMW.
In the picture you can see a new painting blue-grayish blue near Toledo Blue, you maybe a little more clear and I suspect that is not brilliant effect.
Will it be a substitute for Imperial Blue or Midnight Blue? I would bet that will be the replacement of one of the latter two.

Close up of the new dark blue color!

hi guys. first of all i want to say that i like this rear end look so much and front end look not so much.. second thing i wanted to say, is that this car isn't new 7er G11, to me it looks more like G30 5er sedan, beacuse it looks small and a few weeks ago here was posto with picture of what should bi 5er touring like and it had almost the same headlight shape. i think i have picture in my phone of that car so i will post in a few minutes here

EDIT: i don't have picture but here is a link to photo that shows a G31 5er touring http://f10.5post.com/goodiesforyou/5...5-series-b.jpg
it has same headlights, am i right?

It's more dynamic now, it will be lighter than XJ and A8 so this might be the super 7 that everyone is waiting

Hard to tell re: headlights, since the kidneys are not fully revealed in the photo you shared. At first glance, it appears the gap between the kidneys and headlights is larger in the photo you've posted, but again, due to different camo it's tough to tell.

This looks to be the new 7 series based on size alone. But then again, all cars are growing... especially BMWs

Impressive. BMW keeps a consistent design language across its line and manages to avoid fads other manufacturers fall into.

well.. since all bmw will be made with headlights and grills like on f3x, etc, i guess that touring on picture i have posted will have also, and if we could draw lines on "my" photo it would be almost same. about size when i first looked at these pic's i thought "hmm, this 7er is small?"...
i guess only we can do is sadly wait for the end of 2015 when bmw will reveal new 7er

Garage List
I have high hopes for the styling on the GXX based on these pictures. After the awful Bangle-era with the trunk shut lines and the FXX with the equally hideous hood cut lines, here's to hoping that BMW will go for smooth styling from now on. The trunk and hood lines are jarring, looking more like panel gaps on a commercial industrial vehicle rather than what is expected on a modern car.

Why are those testdrivers always blurred?

I'm sure BMW know what driver took what car.

It's not their fault they are "caught".

This is what I can make out from the spyshots.

Edited: I missed the rear side markers.

2nd Edit: Updated render, M-sport package the lights should be more accurate now.

Having currently owning a 2013 7 and 2014 S550, the new one still needs a lot of more if it wants to be the top dog in this category.

Thanks! Updated render tomorrow. I found spyshots which gives a bit more detail as to how it will look exactly.
