Rear seat entertainment

Is it possible to control the stereo from the rear seat? Only through headphones or the entire stereo?

Yes. If "loudspeaker" is selected on rear entertainment then you will be controlling the main sound system. If "headphones" are selected then the front and rear systems split independently. You can watch a DVD from the front DVD changer on the rear and listen to satellite radio on the front, etc.

Thank you for the response. So, is it possible to cycle through iPod songs and radio stations from the rear and play them through the stereo?

Yes it is. My buddy had all kinds of fun being a pita playing with the music from the back the first time I took him for a ride...lol.

As cdnrockies explains, you can manipulate the iPod from the rear.

You can also lock the rear down to prevent access. Also, album art is displayed from the iPod on the rear screens.

For an idea, please search my name here and look for my iPod hookup.

After a year, the kids use this setup more than anything, including DVD.

It has held up very well and still looks new.
