Question THe new Imperial Blue Metallic and Deep Sea Blue

I can't find many photos of Imperial Blue but I switched my order for the 3rd 7 to Imperial Blue in hopes that it would be more blue than my current Carbon Black 7's.

I've noticed there are a lot of "Deep Sea Blue" 7's, is that what they're calling Imperial Blue as of 2013? or are these colors very different?

I can't find hardly anything on the Midnight Blue, but from what I noticed on an X6, it didn't really appeal to me.

Is there a big difference between Deep Sea Blue and Imperial Blue?

Yup, DSB is a lighter but still with a dark blue hue and Imperial blue is a dark blue but still noticeable blue hue almost looks black, like Carbon Black but CB has hints of purple in it

I was thinking about going back to Carbon Black but I think the Xirallic Paint of Imperial Blue will look really good with the Saddle Brown Leather!

Yes! Especially now that with the 2014 BMW is bring back the Xirallic paint back, and I've seen that combo before and it was stunning and gorgeous! Cant go wrong!

I am so glad to hear that~ I was hoping I made a good choice! The order is in the queue so it's good to go now. It's Imperial Blue with Saddle Brown / Black and the Walnut Honey Individual Trim. I think it will be stellar!!

bmr760, you sure know how to order your cars, so I am glad were on the same page with this combo!

So the official 3rd order has changed a bit. The individual wood option could not be added as a single option without adding the indiv. leather pacakge too, even though you could add it on the bmwusa configurator. So I went with Light Poplar.

Also changed from the Imperial Blue to Carbon Black, so that makes 3 carbon black 7's in the garage. I like Carbon Black, in the sun it's just beautiful!

The Imperial Blue didn't seem to have much color depth to it.

Lineup:
1 - Carbon Black/Black 750LI
2 - Carbon Black/Ivory White 750LI
3 - Carbon Black/Saddle 750i
