Lumpy start

Have seen a 730d on autotrader and the advert says car is a bit lumpy on start up but runs better when warm?
Any ideas as to what could be the problem.

These are the exact symptoms of our 330d! Its a problem that has got slowely worse over the months. It is going in for service in a few weeks and I will report back what the problem is. Its likely you will have the same problem. I'm thinking it could be an injector or auto-ignition problem.
