Cruise Control Decel

My cruise control sometimes decels fairly abruptly through hilly terrain almost like the brakes are being applied quickly.It causes kind of a lurch forward and is not very smooth.Anyone else experience this?

hm... not known to me...

would there be a curve like one or two furlongs ahead that could provoke this?
i have my setting on early everything and never experienced that
