@lifesgud2: Thanks for the reply.

The turbos in the X5M and X6M are NOT the same as those found on the TT4.4L engine of the F01, F02, E71, etc.
///M division actually changed the configuration of the exhaust manifolds and the size and type of turbos, along with a whole slew of other things... If you do some searching on this board you'll find all the differences.

So the Dinan upgrade gave you an extra 49 RWHP.

Do these other outfits you listed also offer the same type of warranty coverage as Dinan does?

NO. It gave me 43RWHP. NO they dont have the warranty that Dinan offers, but they have there own warranties for their own products.

In your earlier post you wrote: "Car went from 397 to 446"

Doesn't that make it 49 RWHP ?

So when you say "NO they dont have the warranty that Dinan offers, but they have there own warranties for their own products."
Does that mean if something brakes in the car due to the upgrade that they won't cover it since they only cover 'their own' product?

So then given the strong baseline/stock numbers you dyno'd @ the addtion of the Dinan software should have you somewhere near 500 crank horespower correct? I'm sure a 100 shot on an M5 is quite a bit different from the power delivery of a flashed N63. M5 has crazy top end pull.

I got my 7 the dinan upgrade today.. Man ,,,, completely different car. I love it.
The only problem i have with it now is when i take off the line fast, sometimes the tires slip and i get a error 4x4 dissabled reduced stability control. On highway no problems at all. Need to change the speedometer now 160 is not enough

Its all that snow and cold weather thats making you slip kid. Come ondown to South Florida. 80 And Sunny everyday of the weeeeek..I did the Dinan Upgrade as well and 40 RWHP is a joke. For 3K the car should run 18lbs of boost..Dinan is a waste of money and shame on me for doing the upgrade becasue Dinan is notorious for poor gains and BIG I shoulda knew better. Well, I guess its time for a 150 SHOT..Pics coming soon of the 22's that were just put on..Slammed as well. car looks amazing .
