If I don't drink water literally, every 15 minutes I feel like I'll die.

120 oz a day is not enough

My grandmother (Mareinne) was from Antwerp but moved to Brugge after WW2. She would make the best frietjes in the world. On Sunday, we would go over to her house and she'd be cutting potatoes by hand, and making her own mayonnaise. We'd have a nice steak tartare and eat like kings. Still, to this day, I've never had better.

Do you remember Piedboeuf? I always felt like such a man drinking it out of a beer glass...

Do you eat "les frites" (french fries) with mayonnaise or ketchup?
Most people do not know fries (frietjes) were invented by the Belgians.

Not beef feet, but....

When I was a much younger lad (about 6 or 7), I would spend my summers with my grandparents on the farm. Traditional household where the wife cooked every meal and the husband worked the farm and fields. Grandmother canned foods all summer for the winter months...Amazing childhood!

Every day, we had biscuits with each meal (hand made from scratch) and every day, a small amount of dough was left over. A coupe times a week - I would take the left over dough an make 'stickeys'. Basically, roll out the dough into a pie pan, then spread butter, sugar, and cinnamon in a line across the pan and roll the dough into a burrito like shape. Bake like biscuit and then eat for desert

That's really amazing, because ...
Till today I'm doing exactly the same thing , cutting potatoes by hand .
The best potatoes for frites (frietjes) are the Belgian bientjes...we call them the frites potatoes .
About Piedboeuf....The Belgian dark table beer , I'm drinking this beer mostly with a warm meal ...And I have always some in my fridge !
Our comments are actually the same and that's because we are both Belgians , but it's for sure we like the same things about Belgian food .
Piedboeuf ...

I dont think I have anything to worry about. I've been eating beignets for breakfast since I was 14. My grandmother eats nothing but fried food and is my same size. I gained 50 lbs last year and lost all of it in 6 months without going to the gym once.

Sara you're 5'4? You look appreciably taller.

Like I said your " svelt " body and you only live once ............. thus consider yourself blessed. I am certain the majority of the female population hates you for eating like that and still having the body that you have !?!?
