V12 Ignition threads

I Hope im in the right subforum. But i'm restoring a M70 V12 91' model bmw motor and i was wondering before it goes into the car that maybe i should change the ignition threads. Only problem is that would set me back $800 or so. So i saw this thread online of a guy buying threads for the 735i from eurocable and mixing it so that it would fit. Seemed easy enough and that set him back about $150. So i was wondering whats your advice? I know the engine runs fine on these threads but someone recommended that i change them out for new ones.

Regards.
