+1... Pretty hideous. Could double as a street sweeper.
And I pretty much could care less about how pretty the interior is as long as it's functional.

The new Audis all have ugly gear shifters The one in my A8 reminds me of a yacht accelerator. Audi does this so as to use it as a hand rest while controlling things from the dash; at least this is the case on the A8.

[QUOTE=DocWeatherington;18168340]The interior looks great, typical of Audi ( BMW is going to have to step up the game on the upcoming 3 series, 1st the C-Class, XE now the A4).. 19 Speaker B&O stereo =Winning
265lbs lighter 272Hp 6 Cylinder TDI Thanks JamesNoBrakes However the exterior looks like a simple refresh, they could of did more. I wonder what the S4 and the RS will bring, add some flared fenders/ aggressive front end.. Wouldn't be bad /QUOTE] The RS4 is supposedly a 2017 launch... Unfortunately it looks like in order to sell the RS saloon / Avant in the States, they are dropping the V8 and both the S4 and RS4 will have the same engine. The RS4 will it appears, get an extra turbo to around 475bhp. Obviously pure speculation from motoring press at moment. |

I like it.. I liked the B8 design so it's more of the same; just slightly more angular. With bigger wheels and maybe the black optics package it will look better. The interior is nice. will look better with the S/RS seats but that one enormous (faux?) air vent spanning across the dash is a bit much.

looks like current model lci, another copy of bmw's screen idea(merc copied it first), console looks cool but most likely a 3k option.
overall looks dull and boring...like previous model

Still in my B8.5 until my M gets off the boat. Interior looks like a big improvement, excited to see what they do with the exterior on the S and RS model.
Funky looking shift knob, though. Hopefully there will still be a manual option in the US. Also LOL at people using BMW terminology for Audi. LCI is BMW speak, it's the B8.5 or just B8 refresh to Audi folks. |
