VA does have a cheap tax, but you pay property tax on your car every year based on its estimated appraised value so that sucks. You'll save in one area but the government will get theirs one way or another. As far as I know, VA is one of the few states in the country that charges you an annual property tax on a depreciating asset.

I paid the 4% tax or whatever it is when I got my F30 only to get a bill in the mail weeks later saying I owed something like another $2,500-$2,750 in property taxes.

OP, I knew Acura's were cheap but man they may as well be giving the car away for that price.

I looked at the MDX but ended going with the e70 X5 3.5d and I love it.

We ended up doing the same!!! Not diesel though. MDX is such a nice car but its too quiet and not sporty. X5 is bigger IMO and a lot more refined. This would be my 20+ bmw lol

Damn dude... I'm paying $16k a year in property tax. $12k for the house (2 acres) and $4k for the condo.
