Just me?
Is it just me or has anyone else seen an onslaught of 7's rolling around this past week? It's almost as if dealers are unloading inventory as we speak... which I don't like, as I'd rather have something more unique than the mundane S550 every which way you look.

It's probably just you!
I think you are subconsciously noticing or looking for the new 7 series now due to your interest in the car...

Question
Since you drive a 7 xi....
A) Can you share your fuel economy (hwy/city/mixed)... B) Do you have M-sport pkg? do you have 19 or 20" wheels and how are they holding up in NY streets through winter? thx Aceman |

ive noticed some more 7's around my area lately, but to be honest i actually like it. i see a lot of S550's, LS's, A8's, and older 7's in my area so its nice to see the ones.
aceman i do mostly highway driving and get 22-23. when city highway mixed its about 20. no mpsort but have both 18in standard wheels and 19in 235's. the 18 do fine in the winter, the 19 do great in summer as they are performance tires.

thx jackman...
I couldn't PM you because i was a newbie on the forum....
The info you give helps a lot. I just do not want to be running to the gas station after 350 miles since i do mainly highway, i think i'll be getting close to what i'm getting on my E (20)...... there are some nice rebates on the 2010s so i'm getting a serious itch that needs scratching... Aceman EDITED - Sory i meant jblackbelt!!!! |

Pretty sure it's not in my mind playing tricks on me. Been going through the purchase process for over 3 months, and as scuh, I would have noticed before. Suddenly, multiple ones are running around in the past week or so, from base models to M Sport Packs; South Shore, Nassau County, Long Island. Wish it wasn't the case!

Well, it could also be because a few month ago they had all of these great deals on the 7 series (I recall they had a $10k off promotion) and those cars have finally arrived (after assembly and the time it took to get them state side via the LONG boat ride)...
So now you are seeing more of them on the road. Honestly, I am glad there are a few more around. That means you won't be the only guy with a 7 series so the dealership should actually know how to work on one rather then experimenting with yours
