My new 2013 7 doesn't have AutoStart/Stop memory programmed

Noticed in my 2014 X3, Auto Start/Stop will stay off the next time you get in the car when you press off, it remembers your selection.

Can't this be programmed? Id like to drop it by the dealer to have it programmed to remember my setting in the 7, thought it would be this way anyway but I guess not lol.

Should it take long for them to do?

I heard they are not coding that for free anymore as it changes the mpg factors.

Well, I hope so, I don't like the engine shutting off at a stop, I want to shut the engine off if I choose to do so....

I need to have this coded for last selection at the dealer, I hate the engine shutting off...

Well you can try to train yourself to start the car in two steps. Press start, followed by the ASS off button---every time. Sooner or later it will be habit and you can forget about it.

I have been doing that. First time it goes in for service though, they're taking making it default to my last setting which would be off

They already have done this in my 2014 X3, I imagine the 2013 didn't make the cut for the coding.
