I just got off the phone with a buddy... he's driving a rental Altima from Nashville to Charlotte. I convinced him to drive the tail... Like OnStar... I looked up directions to navigate him down NC129. He's going to send me pics. This should be good.

At this time I heard a upcoming deep bassy noise , so I was convinced it was a low flying cargo plane .
But I was wrong !

Because my house and the floor in my house started to shake for about 2 seconds !
It was the confirmation from a small earthquake...

Report : No damage , but the feeling was really strange .

Today was fun, this girl we kinda have a thing with invited me to a car show. It didn't take long to realize she invited me because she knew I liked cars and not because she liked cars (she only wanted to see a tesla roadster IN A SHOW WHERE THERE WERE A 2002TII AND TWO older FORD GT's AND SO MUCH MORE). Whatever, very thoughtful thing on her to arrange and I love "teaching" and I had a very hot girl with me so I'm not complaining. Then we went to her suburb and walked through downtown Naperville and as I'm dropping her off she says her dad might be home and isn't a "nice guy" so I take the challenge. To my surprise he's pretty chill, he's a very typical retired guy with a thing for his garage. Also has an E36 318ti (yes the compact) and I get the vibe that he liked me so this might turn into something longer term than a FWB kinda arrangement.

To top my day off I went and looked at a LSB E46 M3 Convertible. Absolute dream car when I was 12 and still is a stunning car. I read online through my research that SMG was a piece of shit, but figured that was purists crying because muh clutch pedal. I drive it and holy shit I could shift smoother than that box if I had sexual relations with the gearbox (though it might hurt) for each upshift. I don't know if this is supposed to be this rough and bad or if the tranny is on its way out (if you do pls let me know). I told him that I'd be asking for a PPI from an indy shop and if everything was fine I'd buy it but if someone along the way came up to him with a check he shouldn't not take it.

So yes basically my weekend was awesome. Friday night out with the boys, Saturday morning went to breakfast with a friend from school and afternoon detailed my car. Sunday started off with an awesome car meet, went on to be the first time I laid the pipe in any car, met her dad AND drove an E46 M3 Vert in basically dream spec. Hope everyone's weekend was as good as mine!

Well I feel like I'm talking to myself but whatever; tomorrow is my last day of my internship and one of my last days in the suburbs. tonight was with the boys and was good, tomorrow with the girl from the post above, saturday boat trip by the big boss and sunday im leaving for turkland...

a month passed by very quickly but has been very well laid out for sure - car meets are actually very fun to be a part of
