That's one of the reasons why I don't go to Costco for gas. This is the honest truth, I've only went to a Costco gas station once

and the shit show that I witnessed, was enough for me to never go back.

I completely agree with Dino GT. The few cents you save in gas is not worth the ridiculous line and the circus that ensues with people pulling into the wrong side of the pump for inconvenience. Not to mention, the people that don't wait another 15 seconds so that they could pull all the way forward so that others can get in behind them and make it more efficient.

it's chaos, everytime i drive past it is 6 deep to save what, 15c a litre? Even an 80 litre tank that is $10 ......for all that fucking grief? Hard pass. if you told people to stand in line for 15 minutes to collect $10 they wouldn't do it but they lose their mind on gas.

I fricking love it. I almost exclusively get my gas at Costco. Used to be I was putting premium though, and that was probably a 25c / 30c difference per litre. Regular is probably only about 10c difference.

But the thing is, I refuse to go in the afternoon - its mayhem. I go in the morning, right after I drop my kids off around 8:15am. It's wonderful, I normally pull right in, rarely recall waiting if I go in the morning.

But yeah, afternoon - whole other story.

It must be different in Chicago. At the Shell by me a gallon of premium is $5.19 at the moment. It's $3.79 at Costco. I usually go early on a Saturday/Sunday morning and there's next to no wait.
