Headlight Washer Adjustment!?

I have this same problem: http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...eadlamp+washer

Washer fluid all over my hood! Wasn't sure if harmful to the paint, so took a napkin and tried to soak up as much as possible, without applying pressure and accidentally scratching the hood. Very annoying. Any resolution on this yet - adjustment-wise? Thanks.

As noted in the other thread, these are meant to be used at speed. If you use them while driving 40+mph the issue doesn't occur, they're just pointed upwards to compensate for the wind while driving. . .
