Rain / Snow Drops into Trunk when Open

When there’s rain or snow on our trunk lids, anyone else have issue with the amount that drops into our trunks when the lid is opened? Obviously some is bound to, but I feel it’s worse than on other cars...

Maybe you should switch to Mercedes it seems like you don't like your car very much anymore.

Thanks, osxcode, but I post to find a fix.

Otherwise, someone on Bimmerfest already responded stating this was an issue for them, there's a service bulletin and a new part was installed on their car.

Is it a new trim piece below the rear window? When it was pouring here last week, I didn't notice anything weird when I unloaded my trunk. I did notice that the rear deckled holds a fair amount of water on it after the rain.
