Ventilated Seats

Hi guys,

I was wondering is anyone having a problem with their ventilated seats? We are having a problem with ours, that the seat sometimes begins to get very hot instead of cooling down the seat like its supposed to. Granted, there are only 4 fans vs 6 fans on the back of the seat(as the old 7s, whose seats were some of the best when it came to ventilation) but there is no reason they should be getting hot. Dealer cant reproduce it unfortunately. anyone else having this problem?

Nope. I (as well as my wife) use it all the time and have not had any problems. In fact she sometimes turns the seat heater and the cooling fan on to get warm air blown through the seats. I don't do that but she likes it.

The cooling seems okay, I have not tried the heating yet.
I will try it tomorrow and let you know

thanks guys. its very strange that its happening in the car. does not happen with the x6, and did not happen in the 03 or 06 7 series we had (though those seats were the best since they had 6 fans on the backrest, these we barely feel)
