Second, the B7 RS4 was meant to compete with the E46 M3, not the E90. The B8 RS4 will go after the e90 M3, and by usual RS fashion, it should have about 50 or so more ponies than the M3.

At the end of the day, you can thank Audi for constantly raising the bar model after model; the RS division is making the current HP war accelerate faster than any other factor.

Audi's numbers are fake most of the time or they just estimate a 26% drive train loss which is just sad and ridiculous... RS4's dyno like 310 at the wheels with an advertised 420hp at the crank... Audi was good when they had FI IMO...

My thought exactly. For sure I thought the C63 had to be more expensive than the M3.

The only thing I dislike about the C63 or the new C in general is the side mirrors..they should've made them oval shaped like our 3'ers and their higher classes, ie S and CLS.

I would love to own one, but I'm kind of turned off due to personal reasoning...I have friends with newer Benz's..CLS55, E550, E63, none of them are on the original transmission anymore, lol.

Benzs self-destruct. Not all, but some do. They're like Fords.

And with no warranty... big turn off. But... I still would consider a Benz. Maybe like a newer S-Class or E-Class.

Then again, I think the 5-series/7-series is more my style and more reliable.

Yes, I love the new S, CLS, and CL. If I had the money or if I lease my car, I wouldn't care since I wouldn't have it for a long term. My friend with the E550 has the worst luck of them all. For every week the car is driven, it's in the shop for a month, lol.

And Oren-ain't that the truth. I have so many friends who wouldn't update their B5 S4 'cause they don't want to go back to N/A, lol.

Besides looks-wise and better interior, Audis don't really appeal to me. I actually thought about a B7 S4 instead of waiting 2 months for my 335i...but damn it was quite a bit more $$$ and the MPG didn't appeal to me much either.

2 generations? E46=1 generation, E90=1 generation. If you're going to wait 2 gens, you won't be owning one until 2020. Perhaps you mean 2 years.
