You have to wonder. It's so light, I imagine you'd have to be extremely gentle with the accelerator. I mean, these cars don't have traction control AFAIK.

holy shit man. i wonder how much this will cost. ariel/brammo also thought of making a "track" version of their atom revving to 12k but they abandoned that due to the high cost but i guess this will have to do

low weight +500hp sounds great on paper...but can they get the power to the ground? Chevy is saying that thier new z71 which weighs almost 3x the atom, with 100 extra hp, cannot effectively put the power to the ground---and it has 305's in the back (i believe).

it won't have a big heavy V8 in it. it will have a small, light, 2.4L supercharged V8 in it...granted, i can't imagine it will be nearly as light as the 4-banger Type-R and Ecotec motors that come in them now...but its not like they're trying to wedge an LS1 into it or anything...
