2011 BMW 750Li X Drive mechanic special
For sale: Mechanic special 2011 BMW 750Li XDrive with 119k miles. Car is in good overall condition except for the engine. The engine runs but needs a new bank 2 exhaust camshaft adjuster gear (vanos) I'm selling the car for my neighbor who has owned it for years but stopped driving it after the engine problem started. This car already had a new engine installed from BMW in 2019 and the second engine has the problem with the camshaft adjuster gear. The code stored is P054D. I already installed a new vanos solenoid to try and correct this problem but it definitely needs a new cam adjuster gear. We can start and run the engine but it's not drivable at the moment.
