Mtxzptlk, thank you so much for stepping up the plate.
Just feeling a bit tired after many years covering F1 (I think I started some threads back in 2008 and 2009). I still watch live every race weekend (yes, waking up 5am here in LA!), and I still try to follow as much news as I can. And I still love the sport!
I had to apologize that I just disappeared.

I'll swing by from time to time. This season is going to be interesting.

It was a great race. Great strategy on Mercedes part. Awesome win for Lewis.

However, it was freaking cold! OMG. I was shaking so hard I thought I was having a seizure!

Oh and watching Nico spin out at the chicane was pure joy! The championship is up for grabs now! Only 9 points separating Nico and Lewis. Yeah!

Decent race, however it was a bit anti-climax when vettel was able to close up but then lost twice in the final chicane. Appears the Ferrari PU was able to catch up with Mercedes. And overall a bit more stable compare to the Mercedes under turbulent air.

However, vettel made up the mistake by a few golden interviews after the race.

Seemed like the trend this season so far, Mercedes bad start due to overheat clutches, opportunity for RBR and Ferrari, but only RBR able to clinch it once. Mercedes got a bit luck from the other two teams making more mistakes than them.

As some news indicate, Mercedes needs PU upgrades fast. Renault is catching up, and Ferrari is catching up even faster!
