Yes, if you truly want the best deals, they are typically manager demo specials..
Although I think I got lucky, a few of the people I called didn't want to deal.

If I could mention a few that seemed willing to deal, the following come to mind. (keep in mind I do not know if these cars are still for sale)

195k Sticker silver NSX - $1,479 a month - IL Dealer - Pauly Acura
201K Sticker white NSX - 201k with 46K off. You can easily get maybe 60 off if you get preapproved and negotiate - Flow Motors of Winston-Salem

Honorable mentions:

Acura of Wappingers Falls
Continental Acura
Hendrick Acura
Mungenast Acura

Someone did their homework! Did you also know that like the NSX before it, it's half the price of a new Ferrari? The 570s I owned was FULL of bugs and terrible issues. My Jaguar had a blown motor. The R8 V10 Plus maybe have a "nicer" interior, but it's extremely bare, there is literally only climate controls and everything else is on the cluster (almost bought one, but too bare of an inside) The exhaust is great as one can expect but the outside looks are not really all that special (most people agree).

it's funny, I did one little search and came up with you owning a Viper.. which if I'm not mistaken shares almost 20% of its parts from the GM parts bin..
Don't feed the troll. He's not fooling anyone with his wannabe BROKE baller status.

Congrats on the NSX, and thanks for taking the time to share the info. I've passed this along to my brother who will attempt to do the same deal as yours.

Not sure about honda/acura. But I know the big acura dealers in my province all got nsx allotments and were trying to find owners for them. So what OP was describing seems to apply here as well.

Yeah, Acura is offering 30k incentives to move the 2017's and when coupled with a discount of 15k on the side (off the price of the car).. it turns into a "relatively" low payment since it IS a exotic/supercar after all.

found one locally. if the trade numbers work, I'll probably pull the trigger. Thanks a lot, I wasn't planning on getting one for a couple years when used prices came down, but this is a really, really good deal. Might trade the Porsche and the M4. If not both, whichever they give me the better deal on.

@8k4 is good with me, he's had plenty of good posts from my hazy memory. Some folks just have a weird superiority complex about anything Japanese and he seems to have gone off the deep end a bit in here.

I'll drive anything fun and the brand or heritage mean little or nothing to me if the product isn't fun. I've driven the old NSX a good bit and it's a terribly fun, balanced and precise car. I'm sure the new one is fun in a more technical and applied manner. I'd love to drive one though.

Congrats, hope you find what you're looking for!

If you need any help for a deal let me know, typically gun for 12% off before the 30k incentive and that makes the payments extremely low.

So tempting. Congrats OP.

Is the insurance ridiculous? Just sold an AMG GTR to a friend of mine who was paying $1000 bi-annually for his S63 and they quoted him $6k bi-annually on the GTR.

Thanks!
I'm just trying to get the word out there since there is only about 2 weeks left of the incentive and after driving the car.. if you were cross shopping an loaded M4 and planned to lease.. why not an NSX? Haha. Especially since next year they are going built-to-order and it might do well for the values.

I got quoted $150 a month for insurance on it. $1,800 a year. My M4 was $85 a month in comparison.

I got a call from Pauly Acura this morning.. 195k for $1,479. First payment + title/registration/tax

I'm sure if one of you guys just straight up said "I'll buy it if you honor $1,399 a month", they'd do it in a heartbeat.

What does that do for value retention if they're discounting these cars so much?

Well, they over delivered the cars. Even dealerships who didn't want one, got allocated one. Next year, they are only going built to order.

Dammit. The last time I saw a thread like this, I picked up an F-Type SVR a couple hours later. Thankfully, it's midnight...but there's one at a dealer 30 miles away in the only color combo I'd consider. Hmm.
