2011 740Li is here!!

My uncle dumped the 2009 750Li in place of a 2011 740Li with the new six cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine!

I'm going to go see it this weekend and take it for a spin, I'll take some pictures and post them!

How come? And by the way, the car has the N54, so it's still TwinTurbo engine.

He was not satisfied with the engine and transmission in the 750. It was a very rough shifting car, not smooth at all like a 7 series should be. He had it reprogrammed several times and wasn't to his liking so he swapped it out. He said he has gone from the worst 7 he has every had to the best.

As for the engine, I don't know much about it so I pulled that directly off bmwusa.com. "Generating 315 hp and 330 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,600 – 4,500 rpms, this TwinPower Turbo virtually eliminates turbo lag thanks to Double-VANOS ''steplessly'' variable valve timing, direct fuel injection, and BMW's inspired use of the latest TwinPower Turbo technology."
