Question ► Recommendations For ATL Visit

i will be visiting atl fri-sat so im looking for dining and bar recommendations. so far im leaning towards:

dining:
stk: being a regular at stk downtown here in nyc, i am curious to try the atlanta locations which seems it recently opened.

umi: can't go wrong with sushi and this seems to be the atlanta spot.

bar/lounge:
whiskey blue
skylounge

any other recommendations to check out for a first timer in the city ?

For steak try The Sundial. Awesome view of the city while you're dining and the restaurant slowly rotates so the view is always different. Food is good too, $$$ but worth every penny.

Umi is fabulous. If you don't mind trying something a little weird try their omakase; the chef will pick the best/freshest varieties of the day and make them for you. Tends to be a little more authentic too.

Bars and clubs, Wrecking Bar is laid back but not a place where a lot of kids go so I like it there. If you do want a little activity or live music try The Earl or The Vortex. The Vortex also has a "dick of destiny" that if you take a shot from the shelf in front of it you get a year of good luck. Pretty cool.

I haven't been to the one in Atlanta but I'm a fan of Chops Lobster Bar in Boca Raton for steaks.

Yikes I didn't hear about that. Sad, and it looks like they haven't started it back rotating yet either.

Pretty good bbq.
Ted?s Montana Grill if you?ve never had buffalo it?s really good.
West egg cafe for breakfast
