Only a UK app. Can be downloaded using a UK iTunes account, but does not necessarily allow all the functions for each model (climate control does not work here). No support in US.

I can switch on the climate remotely using it.

I downloaded it off Installous on my jailbroken 3GS and it worked great, including sending addresses to the car, readable via BMW Office

Got BMW remote to work as well. No climate control, but everything else works;

Send address to car from phone
Locate car
Lock/unlock car
Honk
Flash Lights

I've been using this on my E93 M3 since December of last year. The novelty wears off after a while since not all features are supported. For example, I can unlock, but cannot "lock" my car remotely. Where's the fun in that? :-) One thing that does work very well is the vehicle location tracker. I've used it several times to find the general location of my parked car.

I'm hoping the app will fully work with my new 2012 740Li that's currently on order. We'll see when I take delivery in September.

Also, there's no need to jailbreak a phone to get this app to work. Simply create a UK iTunes account and download the app. Did it all directly from my device. The app is free.

You can choose not to have a payment option. You can still 'purchase' free apps.
