Thanks, bruno.
I've come up with the following pictures. Can you or someone maybe mark one or two up to show me what to remove where? Much thanks! |

ok as far as i remember....remove the following based on the diagram:
#9 (round metal)x2--------there are 4 identations, this is where you push to turn it loose clockwise or counterclockwise. (i may have used a long nosed plier but cant remember well) #8 (plastic)x2 after this you can now remove item #3 (scuff plate)x1 now proceed to removing items #13 (plastic) #8 (square metal/plastic cover on luggage eyelet to gain access to bolt #12) then lift up the rubber trim around the trunk, you can now move item #1 (right) or #2 (left) to gain access to the three (3) or four (4) nuts that hold the taillamp |

Thanks so much, bruno; You're the man!
So, to be clear, please confirm the following is correct: 1. Remove fasteners by red circles 2. Remove fastener by organize arrow 3. Remove trim marked by yellow arrow 4. Remove fasteners by green circles 5. Remove trim marked by blue arrow If correct, two more questions: 1. Can you please clarify how to remove the fastners by the red circles 2. Is it necessary to remove the trim marked by the blue arrow on the right if I only need to access the left rear lamp (if so, I understand I need to remove 7, 8 and 12 in the second picture as well)? Thanks again! |

fasteners by red circles:----has four grooves, these grooves can be pinched with long nose pliers and turned counterclockwise (like a screw) to remove, just be careful not to scratch them. Then there are two plastic clips (orange arrow) you need to pry, you can now remove trim (yellow arrow)
carpet trim by blue arrows:---only remove the side you need taillamp access. (you can actually try squeezing your arm between the car's body and carpet trim to access the taillamp you need to re-align),---if you have a hard time removing the carpet trim. you also need to pry cover#8 to access bolt#12 of luggagehook#7 before you can remove the carpet trim-blue arrows. |
