Well the media workshops for the new 7er begin very soon so we will get to know some aspects of the car as we build towards the global launch.

As well as introducing key elements of the new 7er. Select media will get behind the wheel of the Vision Future Luxury Concept Car and learn more about its eDrive drivetrain.

Its exciting because the workshops will lay forth the innovation the new car will feature including new key Efficient Dynamics technology amongst other innovations and developments that makes the 7er class leading in its segment.
Such as its significant weight reduction which will then lead up to the
Vision Future Lu"X"ury our Concept car for this years Shanghai Auto show.

All in all an exciting programme for the launch of the new BMW 7er.

These are what I am interested in also. The M50D would be my choice.

Was xDrive available for Right Hand Drive models for the F01/F02 generation?

Also, other questions:
-How long till the 760Li M-sport V12 comes out?
-Will there be an M7? If so, will it come with a V12 engine?

Ah I see.

It might be similar to what MB and Maserati are doing wherein their AWD platforms are for LHD markets only

YES thats more like it, but I fear it will not resemble that.
I also thought the new 7 series was coming this year, not next?.

I bet that that's the real deal. Probably taken at one of the private reveals. Gotta say it's as expected - and that's too bad. Nice enough but boring. I think BMW's styling department is in a real rut these last few models. Dare we wish for Bangle to come back?

I like what I'm seeing. Nice and clean design with typical BMW design language. Has a strong and masculine stance.
I think M-Sport is going to look great!

Garage List
I will say this, it looks a lot less bulky so I'm interested to see if the look translates to the drive.

Right - Bangle had the best designs. Look at the old 5 series and 3 series. They still look great on the road today, but the new designs only look so so. The old designs by Bangle just flowed so well and had an inspired mix of aggressiveness and class.
