Wow they really missed a huge opportunity on this one. Why not bring something closer to the concepts as of late?

Not impressed from this angle. I'll be attending the reveal the 26th I think, and will reserve final judgment till then, but I think sclass takes the cake.

Exactly why they have been leaking tech first, rather than styling spy shots.

It looks hideous. What is that chrome strip running down the entire length of the car?

Unhappy

Is this the "Dubai Bling Special Edition"...

What is up with all of that extra CHROME trim???

I'd say someone is trying to catch the eye from noticing such an underwhelming design.

surprised no one has mentioned ride height yet - I doubt it is production spec, but wow! those gaps are too much.

I'm not sure if I like that steering wheel, though

Excited to see m-sport
I love it personally

I was actually at the private reveal event this past weekend and the new 7 looks pretty good in person. I personally did not like the m-sport that much but the luxury line looks good. The front and side of the 7 reminded more of an evolution of the e38 7 series.. Visually Long side profile, flat nose, horizontally long headlights, huge kidney grills.

THIS is how you "take the crown"!
YES thats more like it, but I fear it will not resemble that.
I also thought the new 7 series was coming this year, not next?.
Current Bmw board have no balls to put something like that on the road. Bangle should be brought back. He fought for these designs to be reality not dumbed down versions we see today.

Did the m-sport model have as much chrome too?

I don't like it , still way too many space around tires..Even more now I realise that Bangle 7er was way ahead of it's time , the car was separated from the rest of then bmw lineup , was different , big , even today looks massive and high tech.. Come back Chris Bangle , these guys have no balls!

What a hell did happen BMW??? This was a major strategic model for the battle with Audi and Mercedes... I think that if the final model is really this one then you have a major problem in hands when we speak about aesthetics, I've a F11 LCI 535d and I'm very disapointed with this, please don't make the same mistake on the new 5 series because if so you will loose a costumer that with 38 years old allready owned four 5 series models.
