Service Engine Light with No Other Warnings

my service engine light is on (yellow engine icon at upper right of instrument cluster).

anyone know what it may mean if no other warnings are shown on the cluster or screen?

car drives normal, with possible, most minimal misfire, but not sure.

dealer visit is in store, but wondering if anyones seen this...

had autozone read and clear the code, which was p0316; they said it was an oxygen sensor, but i think it means something else for bmw. code came back after a couple of starts.

I have never had that problem before, I've had other problems that led me quickly to the dealer for resolution. I just meant "Oh boy..." in terms of having to get something repaired.... I hope it can quickly be solved for you.....
