Things to do in or near Flagstaff?

Wife's family is doing a family reunion and while I think most of the trip is planned already. Anything off the beatin' path worth checkin' out? We are leaving Friday and driving up so anything inbetween San Antonio and Flagstaff please let me know as well!

Thanks in advance for any input guys and gals!

I already downloaded the following song on the ipod to play on the road

Mostly, I think people age and die there! Hah. I would look into a good hiking trip - it is hot AF, but the desert landscape is really cool if you've never really experienced it before.

Also, I am curious about this "beatin' path"... I didn't know they had a whole path just for beating. Is it lined with lotion and kleenex? Heh... sorry... couldn't resist.

Uh...
Flagstaff is at almost 7000'. It's not hot at all if you look just south at Phoenix.
Probably 80's for high. That's chilly for Texans.

It's gonna be in the 90's today, lol. We're kind of in a weird heatwave that's lasted for the past 2 weeks and will continue on into the following week :|

Also, yes, totally into the hookers and blow thing. I'd say let's meet up, but I have a wedding to go to tomorrow in NorCal, but otherwise.....Drive through Sedona (take the 89. you won't regret it). If you have the time, take the 180 from Flagstaff to the Grand Canyon (stop by the Snowbowl, get a lift ticket for you and your wife. It'll take you to the peak and you'll get a 11 thousand foot view of the surrounding area).

^looks like ample location options to dump bodies to me...what was the real purpose of your trip to Flagstaff?

Amirsm3 probably had better off the grid locations to dump bodies, fyi

I would head to Sedona and check out some stuff over there.. They have cool jeep off road adventures, and theres some train tour that will take you all around that i heard was kinda cool.

Depending on how far you're willing to travel:

Grand Canyon
Petrified Forest
Prescott (lunch, sight seeing, Ruger SWAG)

Wife's family reunion.

It was nice to be in a climate with zero humidity.

Just got back home in Texas and heat index is 102 at the house
