I have a Steelcase Task chair at work and happy with it. Most of our UK offices estate have them. I've used/tested most as mentioned in the thread above as my job for a blue chip company is to lead the transformation of shitty offices into great places to work.
I had a Aeron chair at home for a while but found it a bit too big and unweildy and I'm waiting to get hold of a classic Eames in white leather. They're just so damned expensive to buy new.. Bob |

That chair makes me want you to do my taxes - or maybe handle a legal case for me.

Pretty close. No taxes but if you have a complex corporate accounting problem or major transaction such as an acquisition or IPO, I can get your accounting in order.

I love the IRS, people always bash them but for no reason. I did an amended return, and they paid interest on my error. can't beat it with a stick 3% apy. I told the agent I make more in a week off my rental property than you, your dad, and grandfather and his father too did in 396 years since landing on Plymouth Rock

Imagine how fit everyone would be if the pedaling speed was directly connected to your internet speed!!

IMHO, you can't go wrong with Herman Miller products, well designed, durable, and most importantly, comfortable. With the Aeron, if you choose to add the available options, you can certainly get to $1 500 in a hurry. I chose several options on my office chair, namely leather armrests, and the chrome/stainless steel add ons, see image below. I also have the Aeron barstool for my workstation and love the height adjustability.
