Yep Randy is local to me, the E30 M3 is absolutely beautiful and he is a true enthusiast. Glad he was able to tuck the car away...

Might be a stupid question but why just put the car in the garage and put it on jack stands. Thats an extra foot and a half.

Yeah I see your situation and it really s@cks , but think you're fine to run if the water is gone ..

Few months back we had several horrible thunderstorms in Belgium , the lightning pulled giant threes down and the roads were like a warzone ..
Drove in the middle of the night to my work and saw a river that came over the road and my Mini drove like a champ through the whole shit, and that was a lot of water as well !
My ///M3 is great , but hats off for the Mini ...It's actually a little tank

The garage has the four wheeler and some miscellaneous items. To jack up the car would've been a lot of work and would have to be repeated with 2 other cars.. Weather folk said it would go out to sea and turn south. Guess the models where wrong.

Did the water get in the exhaust? There was no way my baby was going to stay out there while hurricane Matthew was making waves along the east coast
Both cars exhaust but not much I hope..
Why not use the garage but on the bright side that's why we pay insurance hopefully u hav comprehensive
I do, full coverage on all.

Love it. When we had the big fires in 2003 here in San Diego. I had 1978 Scirocco that I had restored. I also had a pretty new Tacoma 4x4. We go orders to evacuate as the fire was getting close. My wife starts putting out medicines and birth certificates in my new truck and the kid was in her Subaru. I ran out and said. What are you doing? Forget the new truck. I'm leaving it and taking the old Scirocco! Really puts your priorities in perspective when disaster looms. : )

I second the gun man cave ... but my man cave / ready room is more "invisible" so no way to get my car in there!

Awesome. Beautiful E30!

And also why I have to have a place with a garage. That's where my baby was as Matthew made this weekend miserable.

That E30 looks impeccable. Can't knock against the man at all doing that to protect it.
