Fabulous shots from everyone recently.
The wildlife shots are truly inspirational. I love the SR-71 Blackbird shot. Even after all these years it looks so utterly menacing and futuristic. Great shot.

Fireworks behind Elgin Cathedral.
We have an annual fireworks display, hosted by Elgin Rotary, in Cooper Park, Elgin, Morayshire. Pictorially the fireworks seem to work best when taken using the ruins of Elgin Cathedral as a foreground centre of interest. Elgin_Fireworks_4507 by Alan Butterfield, on Flickr

Yes, he's a heavy weight, either 8x8 or 7x8. He's knocked a couple of shorter brow tines.

The "Great Beach" at Point Reyes in 11 miles long and totally unspoiled. You can hike it from end to end, but it can be dangerous though as it is prone to sneaker waves that have swept people out to sea. It is also almost time for the elephant seal bulls to start to coming ashore as well, toward the south end (away from the camera)and people are not allowed near them when they beach.
