B&W Diamond vs Harman Kardon

Has anyone here gone out and tested to compare the difference the 2 sound systems, both are 16 speakers yet B&W is 1400w vs 600w for Harman Kardon.

No info on Freq response or watts per speaker/subwoofer

Thanks

No one here has gone and tried a car with B&W for a test drive and heard the difference?

I'll be going to UK next week and see if i can with a USB full of Flac test tracks

anyone know the highest Freq the system can handle before it downsamples ?

96khz-24bit for example for a Flac

I do have B&W now and had a G12 loaner for about a month with the standard Harman/Kardon sound system. I am not an audiophile but do like the B&W both for the sound and for the appearance. The H/K just seems so dull for some reason and I am glad that I have opted in for the B&W.

B&W does provide a USB with sample songs. They are all in Flac 16bit 44.1 kHz format.

Hope this helps.

Flac @ 44.1Khz-16bit is sample Quality as CD, apparently iDrive handles Flac @ 96Khz-24bit

See how you think if you can get a higher samples

Listened to both .. no comparison .. get the B&W. I'd actually get it just for the aesthetics.

I listened to both back to back before making my decision. The Bowers and Wilkins sound has better highs and lows, more depth, and better separation between all of the different tone ranges.

I could have lived with the Harmon Kardon, but you get plastic grilles with the Harmon Kardon. It seemed out of place where everything else was such a nice material, to have large pieces of grey plastic.
