2017 7 Series Remote Parking
This technology may be useless to some, but you have to admit it is pretty awesome! If i were to order a 7 Series it would be worth the $550 dollar to me.

For me, it would probably be like ConnectedDrive email. I would setup my accounts online because it was available and test it out; but, the novelty would wear out quick.
With surround view cameras, parking myself is just quicker. |

I did check the box. At least once at a sporting event parking lot I was so boxed in that we could not get a door open enough to get in. The remote parking gizmo would have allowed us to get the car out.

I ticked the box on mine. Yesterday I tried it out at home, normal process is open gate, drive car out, close gate. It took a bit of time to start but started to drive out and the stopped - maximum distance reached!!
So close but not quite there! |

Doesn't sound alot compared to the cost of the car but for that money is there another option you could take?
I skipped it and used the money for different options I thought I would use more e.g. surround view? Car is awesome regardless |

Surround view is a must. In terms of additional cost for remote parking -- not even a rounding error. Another point for the cost to get a feature that literally differentiates this vehicle from any other is worth the $ w/out a doubt.
